Today I went to the library in the morning again to do CIP with Jim and WJ, cos Darren is away, I imagine having lots of fun in Japan. It was again, pretty much the same, except that I felt better today, being able to help some people find the books they wanted to read. I really like the feeling of being able to help people, its like...you feel that you are useful and not wasting your life, or something like that. First was a young boy who couldnt find a geronimo stilton book or something (forgot what its called, but its close), so I helped him search on the system and went over to a self to look for it. But suddenly remembered that I didnt look for the type of book it was, like whether it fell under J, JP or JS. So I went back to search, thenr realised that the boy was following me around, so I told him to wait for me there. I couldnt bear to see him following a lost person like me looking for a book. This time I looked more carefully and found the area, but there werent any of those books...so sad. He looked disappointed so I explained that he shouldn come to the same area next time to search for it and went off. Then Jim came over and told me that someone was looking for enid blyton books, but he couldnt find them. So I searched again, and realised Jim was ALSO looking for the book in the wrong area and so I went to the correct area to take all the enid blyton book to the lady. (apparently there werent a lot there then) I know this is boring, but the same boy from earlier came back to me and asked me to help him find a non-fiction book. This time it was easier, and I think he managed to find it in the end. Yay. All this searching for books sounds lame and boring too, but trust me, compared to hours of shelving books, this is much much better cos more of a challenge and wakes you up from your semi-consciousness. Haha. Today WJ felt a bit bored so we left slightly earlier, but still did quite a number of hours.
Finished watching both the studio ghibli films that we bought. They were both very simple, but emotional too, thats what studio ghibli films are well-known for. Its hard to describe cos they are just so special. Future Classics! Only people who have actually watched studio ghibli films will be able to understand what I mean, haha. Still remembered when I watched my first studio ghibli film when I was about 10, not very early actually. I think it was grave of the fireflies or spirited away...forgot which came first...sorry! But they are really good, so if you have the chance, go watch one! Actually had more to write but just went to eat some cream puffs (haha) so dont feel like writing more anymore, lol.
