Well, as I have mentioned s few times before here and many times on tags...I am bored because everyday seems to be the same- doing the same things + which are not in any way 'beneficial' = No life. Except for maybe the cip part, which I really enjoyed doing and felt thats its meaningful, but hasnt got much time to do...
Yesterday, Darren, Jim and I went to the library again to do cip, cos Darren had to clock a few more hours, haha. But Jim and I went there for pure service (lol, ok a bit of cip hours) and to accompany him. It was pretty much the same things, but WJ didnt go this time because she is on holiday overseas. Darren will be going overseas soon, for about two weeks...sad. So, we did the usual things at the library, lots of shelving and a little shelf reading and straightening. (thats what they call those stuff) However, this time I was approached by two interesting people who looked like undergraduates. (separately) The first told me that he couldnt find a book and asked me for help. He gave me the call no. of the book, which I could pretty much read by then, but I could find it on the shelf so went into the sorting room for help, but it wasnt there too. So I sadly returned to the man and told him that I couldnt find it, and asked him to proceed to the counter if he needed further assistance. lol, but it was quite depressing cos its my first time... Then the second person came. This time it was a lady, asking me where she could find books on astrology. I was quite taken aback by the topic she was looking for, but tried to help her find by searching on the system to check for the call no. of these kind of books, but again couldnt find it due to my inexperience. After she left, I cooled down and went to search again by myself, and realised that it would have been much easier to help her find what she wanted if I had asked for the more specific aspect of astrology she was looking for, like atrology of baby names...or love and marriage? So I knew I was being dumb and useless and looked like an idiot librarian in front of her. Hopefully I can prove to be more helpful in the future...rather than wasting all their time. So sorry to those whose time I have wasted. So those two people were the most memorable this time at the library.
Anyway, recently I have been watching the same animes I have mentioned before, but got tired of waiting, so started watching mai-otome, which is the sequel to an anime I have watched before, mai-hime. I think that this might be a girls anime, but for an anime lover like me, it doesnt really matter as long as I can appreciate it. This anime is about Arika, whose mother was once an otome, which is sort of a fighter/protecter in this anime, and she also dreams to become one like her mother. She is the main character of the story, and becomes a student in the otome school at the start of the series. The series is about her progress in her school, Garderobe Academy, and what being an otome is about. I havent finished watching the series yet, but will continue to, haha. Hopefully before the holidays end. Oh, and we also bought two Studio Ghibli movies today and previewed a little (do you call 30 mins little?) of both of them. They are 'Whisper of the Heart' and 'The Cat Returns', adding on to the few Studio Ghibli productions I have watched before and really liked. Shall talk more about this when I finish watching those two. Enjoy your holidays everyone!
