Was a bit frustrated yesterday night, cos I was wondering whether or not I should go all the way to nus just to collect my library card. alone. I hate being alone.
Today school was...normal, got back some tests. and I completely failed my english comprehension test. (got a big fat zero for vocabulary, wow) And I did just okay for maths topical assessment on graphical solutions of equations. This has never been a topic I was very confident at, simply becos its unstable for me. I can score very well for one graph and fail another...
Then was assembly where we didnt do anything much except watch a play on the soccer scene in singapore, comparing the past to present. Wasnt very interested, lol, so we talked among ourselves. Went to decorate our class next, and did something very nice. Something like grafitti, haha. Then I went to eat lunch and watch my classmates play soccer for a while. Jim was supporting our school at a tennis match with his class then, and Shayne is with his ever-so-busy schedule. So I had to go get the nus card myself, and had a very smooth journey there this time. Just dont understand why I have been going over to the clementi area so many times recently. (NUS, NanHua High School, Ngee Ann Poly...) I sort of just knew how to get to all the places this time, haha. Met Moses and Francis there and we got our cards together. Couldnt help anyone collect their cards cos it wasnt allowed, so sorry to about five people whom I promised to help them ask. (except jim, cos I told him hes family, lol)
Then as I was getting home on the same bus as last friday, I sat beside an nus person who spoke in chinese with the chinese accent, but used words so singaporean, like something she called '有聊’which I found so funny, cos I dont think there's such a word. Probably came from '无聊’lol. So after a while, I saw something really coincidental. By some chance, I met the three people I met last friday and mentioned on my blog! (the two girls and the old woman) When the girls went up, they were like, "Auntie!" so loudly the whole bus could hear it. And then they started talking again... Until the old woman got off and the smaller girl said something like next time she was going to invite the old woman to their house to see their father. Then the older girl (also very young, about 8), was telling her that she would never allow that, cos the woman was a stranger, but the younger girl kept saying she wanted. I think that the older girl is really smart to tell her younger sister the right thing to do. And the whole scene was really quite funny, thats why its memorable..lol.
Tomorrow will be the last day before the 'holidays'! Hope we dont get too much work within the next 24 hours. Oh, I mean during the 'hols' cos most work will be given online... So, good bye!
