The end of the second week of school...and one phrase comes to mind...things are being taken away...
There are just so many things...one of them must be...sleep? Ok this one is rather usual, not too bad I guess...but dunno why I just sleep later everytime...must try to set a limit for myself...=)
Then there are other things like maybe teachers? Haha for some reason, my class had 3 relief teachers teaching us this week. Maths teacher gone to accompany some students at a competition, Bio teacher is mentoring a group of primary school kids for an international competition too, while our English teacher has already been MIA since the start of the year. But I mean, not all relief teachers are bad...like our relief maths teacher Mr Lai teaches well, Im quite surprised that I can do integration! It might not mean much, but for a relief teacher, I must say he has done a good job! =) But he is only staying with us for this week..
And then for English, its Mr Tan. He is quite ok, has quite a good personality, and can control the class decently haha. I mean, he is an old boy afterall...so he gets things across to us, which is good. A lot better than our fourth one... (haha so you know how many we've had) He will be leaving in a few weeks too.
And then..our relief bio teacher... Sorry but I dont think he is doing that well. Compared to Mrs Lim, he is teaching really slowly, and his explanations arent really that good...also, everything somehow seems incomplete, like the information he is teaching isnt covering everything... and I dont think he controls the class that well too. But to be fair, I've only had 1 of his lesson so far, and he looks more like the quiet type of ppl...
Oh and...Im kinda screwing up my chemistry...just got back our papers, and it was badly done. Almost failed. So sad. Dont know how ppl, can srsly do so well in chem, I find the amount of things that need to be remembered...really a lot...periodic table trends, then quantitative analysis and reactivity series...yea, and if I put in enough time to think for each question...I will have a difficult time finishing it...tell me wad to do! =)
And then after the sad and attitude chem lesson, Bennah, Teng Chuan, Douglas and I we went to have lunch together at subway! But then after buying my food, my stomach had some problems again (like in the HMT prelim...?) Yep, so didnt feel very well, but was still happy for that nice food and great company. And then after that I went to Bennah's house for geog tourisn project. Lol, to write about where we visited, the discovery centre. It was quite interesting there, cos many things were happening for them, haha so I had no trouble staying awake. =D And there was also lots of food there! Thanks! Im fat. haha
Ok so bennah and his dad kindly fetched me to the mrt, and then from there, I stared at the mrt system map, deciding how to get home. I could just take it back home the usual boring way...or I could wander around and try a new way! And, thinking that my life now just reeks of boredom, I decided to see where my instincts brings me.
I took the mrt, and alighted at kembangan, partially also because hiok yang lives nearby, so I might be able to find a fast way home. And I just walked around, looking for some directions...people who actually noticed me would have immediately identified me as a lost person, lols. But anyway, I walked around the whole mrt until Im sure there isnt a way home, then I just walked straight, following under the mrt tracks. I passed...a bus stop...then 2...then 3...until I saw a familiar road...marican road. Haha yay. And so I was pretty sure I knew the way, and just walked in, trying to find the 'landmark' lols. (orienteering skill!) Haha, and I also gave hiok a call just to tell him I was around the area, but think he was still at school...oops should I have said that? haha.
And then, from there onwards its just memory more than instincts, and im on my way home on the bus! Tried to keep awake and read my book for the english book club discussion, but haha couldnt, and fell asleep... Woke up a few stops before mine, and haha im home! =D Looks like instincts can go a long way! (i dont mean it took very long, cos i think i saved a bit of time actually...) haha! Im learning from wat Mrs Lim (principal) said last time, about taking another way to your destination, and you might make some discoveries. Haha, I might not have discovered anything, but at least, it was a journey which added some colour to my day! =)
